A Summer Sabbatical  

This summer we’re taking a stand against the typical. We’ve re-thought the norm. We’re changing things up. No, don’t expect to read any great articles in this July-October issue…because you can watch them instead! 

It’s true. Helmet Hair magazine.com is taking a summer sabbatical. While we’re out getting some much-needed road time, we invite you to stay parked long enough to check out a handful of slideshow videos produced by yours truly and Helmet Hair’s creative contributors. Follow us to a fourth grade class to find out which one of us became a show and tell project, or jump on the back of a scooter to whiz through a Vespa Rally – “Texas Style.” You’ll also learn that one of us is a mother of a child who has Type 1 Diabetes. With camera in-hand, she lends her support to help promote a charity event held for a fellow female biker who, along with the help of her devoted friends, is fighting to beat this disease. Next, stroll through an iron graveyard where motorcycles go to die (or do they?) And for those of you who need to get reacquainted with your bike, we have something for you, too. Plus other random videos we just couldn’t pass up. 

Before you know it summer will be over, and we’ll be back to our regular writing routine. So until then, enjoy this non-issue. We hope it inspires you to take your own sabbatical away from the norm.
